HSS.2A ALARM MONITOR CLIENT- GENERAL OVERVIEW
Alarm Monitor Client (AMC) is software used to receive alarm signals from the HSS system. It can be installed on a PC (Desktop AMC) or a mobile device (Mobile AMC).
Main Functions:
Displays a photo of the person or object that triggered the alarm.
Alerts the operator with a sound and/or vibration.
Allows viewing alarm history on the desktop.
Mobile AMC displays a photo of the object with sound and/or vibration alert.
Connection:
For more information, see the Get Client Tab in the chapter describing Service Interface.
The HSS connects to mobile devices only via wireless connection.
Additional Information
The Alarm Monitor Client package includes software for collecting information from the HSS and displaying it to the operator.
The desktop version shows alarm photos and the approximate location of a potentially dangerous object.
It informs the operator of system errors and allows control over HSS status.
If multiple HSS systems are installed, AMC gathers and displays data from all systems.
Installation and updating of software is carried out through Apstec support on devices provided by the End User.
In the event of an unintentional power failure of the device due to reasons dependent or independent of the End User, it may be necessary to reconnect auxiliary devices to the HSS Wi-Fi network and restart the Alarm Monitor Client after the device is turned on. After connecting, the last saved data is loaded within a short time.
