HSS.2A FUSE REPLACEMENT

HSS.2A FUSE REPLACEMENT

Fuses are replaceable components, but they are not part of regular maintenance. Under normal operation, the fuse should not need to be replaced. However, if the device stops working or fails to power on, the fuse may be blown and should be replaced.

Warning

Please follow these safety precautions:

  • The fuse must be replaced by a qualified technician.

  • Always turn off the device and unplug it from the power source before replacing the fuse.

  • Never attempt to access the fuse compartment while the device is powered on or connected to power.

  • Do not use a fuse with a different current or voltage rating. This can damage the device or cause a fire or electric shock.

  • Ensure the fuse compartment cover is securely closed before turning the device back on.

  • If the device still doesn’t work after replacing the fuse, or if the new fuse blows immediately, do not attempt further repairs. Contact a professional service technician.

Fuse Replacement Steps
  1. Turn off the device completely and unplug it from any power source.

  2. Locate the fuse compartment (see image below).

  3. Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently remove the compartment cover.

  4. Carefully pull out the blown fuse.

  5. Insert a new fuse of the same type and rating. Make sure it is seated securely in the holder.

Default installed fuses:
  • Type: Schurter, 5 × 20 mm

  • Part number: 0001.2508

  • Rated current: 2.5 A

  • Rated voltage: 250 VAC / 300 VDC

  • Breaking capacity: 1500 A

Operators should keep spare fuses on hand to minimize downtime.
