HSS.2A NETWORK AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Operator’s PC

  • Ethernet port for internet connection

  • Power socket for the PC

Network connection

The HSS can connect to the operator’s PC in the following ways:

  • Direct Ethernet cable (DHCP must be enabled)

  • Built-in Wi-Fi module on the HSS

  • Customer’s local network with a designated IP address for the HSS

Warning
Minimum network speed required: 100 Mbit/s

Remote access
​
Internet access is needed for remote monitoring and technical support. The connection is made through a secure, encrypted channel. If internet access is not possible, it must be discussed directly with APSTEC technical support.


GDPR compliance

The HSS system is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All data is processed and stored locally on the device, with no need for cloud services. Photos from alarm events are stored on the device only temporarily, for audit and review purposes.
