HSR.4B HSR Client Software Operator’s Guide

Connecting and Launching the Program

After installation, a shortcut for HSR Client appears on the desktop. When starting the program, the operator must enter a username, password, and HSR server address. These credentials are provided by the system administrator.

Main Window

After successful login, the HSR Client main window opens. It contains three key sections:

  • Video — live video streams from cameras.

  • Alarms — triggered events detected by the system.

  • Position — zone layout with target location.

The interface may vary slightly depending on the software version, but these three tabs are always present.


The “Video” Section

This section provides access to live video streams from the cameras.
Operators can:

  • switch between different cameras,

  • display a video stream in full-screen mode,

  • view multiple feeds simultaneously.

Live monitoring allows operators to identify suspicious activity even before an alarm is triggered.


The “Alarms” Section

This section displays all triggered alarms, providing operators with a detailed view of each event.
For every alarm, the system records and presents:

  • a thumbnail image of the detected object,

  • the date and time of detection,

  • a sequence of captured frames from the camera, showing the object at different moments.

The “Position” Section

This section displays a simplified map of the monitored zone. Targets are marked as:

  • a green circle — regular movement,

  • a red circle — alarm event.

The position map helps the operator quickly identify the object’s location and accelerates coordination with response teams.


Operator Guidelines
  1. Always verify each alarm using both photos and live video.

  2. Cross-check data between the “Video” and “Position” sections.

  3. Keep a log of your actions and reaction times.

  4. Stay calm and strictly follow instructions when an alarm is confirmed.

  5. Report any technical issues to your administrator or technical support.
